Catalogue of the largest exhibition to date in India of the superb ‘Company’ paintings – by Indian artists for European patrons, spanning botanical, architectural, horticultural and many other subjects. The exhibition was at DAG, New Delhi and has not been distributed in the UK. It is quite different from the Wallace Collection exhibition in 2019 whose catalogue was edited by William Dalrymple, ‘Forgotten Masterpieces: Painting for the East India Company’.
