Handsome two-volume set: a well-illustrated survey of the architecture and furniture design of English houses. Vol. I: 3rd ed. (1909) in good condition, with gold embossing on front and spine; the pages are clean and bright with gold gilt edges, though the binding has loosened and the boards are worn at the top and bottom of the spine, with some scratches to the back and discolouration to the right of the front cover. Vol. II: 2nd ed. (1908) in good condition with the same embossing as vol. I, bright, clean pages, and boards in very good condition, with mottled fading to the spine.
