This book on the Kenyan-born British studio potter originally accompanied a show at The Hepworth Wakefield in 2019. It shows 44 of Odundo’s beautiful, highly finished pieces alongside other vessels, ancient and contemporary, from Africa and ancient Greece, and by Hepworth, Moore, Gaudier-Brzeska, Lucie Rie et al. Her influences are multiple and include traditional ceremonial forms from Kenya, Nigeria and ancient Egypt, Japan and Peru.
