Hardback bound in pale yellow cloth; colour photos throughout, with illustrations listed in English as well in Russian; introduction in Russian with a one-page summary in English. Inscribed by Lesley Blanch as follows:
“For Mark + Marguerite, whose house + hospitality offers [sic] everything, except a samovar; & since I cannot find one worthy of either 79 Chester Square, or Mark’s ancestry, this plurality of стари самовари [old samovars] – with my love. Lesley. 29.xii.74”.
