A book of photographs by an Iranian-Australian photographer documenting the islands in the Strait of Hormuz in southern Iran, their eerie, wind-carved landscapes and their wind-haunted inhabitants whose culture is deeply influenced by the omni-present gusts. AH’s aim was to make “a visible record of the invisible through the eye of the imagination” – this is strange and beautiful.
