A complete set of Lees-Milne’s diaries, covering the period 1942-1997, in 12 hardback volumes. All are first editions, first printings. All have dust jackets with good and bright spines. One volume, Ancient as the Hills is signed by JLM on the flyleaf. A couple of volumes have slight foxing to the top edges. Lees-Milne was an architectural conservationist, biographer and gossip whose diaries are without doubt his greatest literary contribution. A superb set.
