A fine overview of Avedon’s work with essays by Jane Livingston and Adam Gopnik, this catalogue accompanied a retrospective exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. First edition in fine condition with a fine dust jacket with very slight creasing at the top of the spine. Inscribed by the author in marker pen across two pages before the title page as follows: “For Marguerite and Mark, across the years[,]Dick”.
