Over 150 duotone and colour photographs of the decade’s icons and political activists. First edition, first printing. The book is in fine condition, the dust jacket however is only fair, with shelf-wear to the top edge, two 3cm tears to the front panel, a tear at the top of the spine and 5cm tear at the back panel. Marguerite Lamkin (Littman’s maiden name) is listed first in the acknowledgements for her role as Project Coordinator. A white paper label is sellotaped onto the flyleaf and inscribed, in a mix of marker pen and type, by the author as follows: “Oh Marguerite/ With the angst of the authors/as ever/Dick”.
