From the library of Marguerite Littman.

First edition, first impression. Published Weidenfeld & Nicolson 1974. Fine in very good dust jacket; pages very slightly yellowed, and dust jacket slightly faded. Inscribed by the author on half-title page: “for Marguerite and Mark, my [Pavilions of the Heart] – (though without the errata slip that the publishers innumerable errors require [sic], and which will be included in later copies) Anyhow – as it is, with my love, Lesley. April ‘74”. As is apparent from the inscriptions in several books that Blanch gave the Littmans, she was a close friend and regular house guest at 79 Chester Square.
